The Cincinnati Bengals took 1st place in the NFC North by defeating their Rivaled Baltimore Ravens in primetime on Thursday night football. Remaining undefeated and a competitor out west will be highly contingent on the play of their starters, Carlos Dunlap, Joe Mixon, and Andy Dalton.

Establishing a 21-0 lead in the 1st half, the Bengals did everything right to fend off Baltimore. 3 TD passes to A.J Green gave America a glimpse of why he is acclaimed one of the best wideouts in the NFL. The man tossing the ball to him however has had shortcomings that keeps him outside of the Elite conversation amongst NFL QB's. While it would be impulsive to proclaim that Andy Dalton is some NFL superstar after winning two games, his statistics do show signs of improvement and poise.

45-70, 6 touchdowns, and 1 interception thus far this year for Andy Dalton is a tale of the tape for NFL Analyst. The Hefty ratio has the Bengals offense firing on all cylinders in 2018. The Mix in of running back Joe Mixon had Cincy looking nearly unstoppable last night. The general flaws of this team deals primarily with their inability to tackle and high tendency to commit penalties that allow for opponents to sustain drives and win the possession game. The Bengals defense flustered Ravens QB Joe Flacco and though he managed to throw two TD passes, a few Carlos Dunlap deflections and edge blitzing on 3rd and long kept the Ravens offense in a disarray. With a 10 day rest, the Bengals will face off against the Panthers next Sunday. Hopefully they can sustain the impressive showing they have shown thus far on Sept 23rd. Well done gentlemen.
