Don't Call It Luck

Today, the Indianapolis Colts shut out the Dallas Cowboys 23-0. Their success hasn't been Luck at all, unless we're referring to the QB who has lead them to an 8-6 start.

Former Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Frank Reich has impacted the Indianapolis Colts. Reich is running full power off the morale of his Super Bowl ingenious last season. The combination of Reich and Andrew Luck has the Indianapolis franchise very optimistic. They drafted LB Darius Leonard in the 2018 draft and he's been stellar also. Today, Leonard had 11 total tackles against arguably the best HB in the NFL Ezekiel Elliot. It's fair to say that Lucas Oil Stadium is not a place AFC contenders should be looking forward into visiting. If the Houston Texans slip up, they may allow the Colts an opportunity to steal the AFC South.

The Dallas Cowboys had been riding a 5-game winning streak until they found themselves at the mercy of the Colts today. Dak Prescott was totally battered and the more the margin grew on the scoreboard, the more Dallas was forced to abandoned their offensive rushing attack. Scott Linehan has been known to fall in love with the pass, but today his stubbornness hindered the Cowboys. When the Boys defeated the Saints on Thursday Night at the end of last month, Prescott had only 28 attempts. Last week, Prescott had 54, and today Dak tossed 39 passer completing only 24.
