Quietly, the Miami Dolphins appeared in the 2017 NFL Playoffs as a AFC Wild Card against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The absence of their starting QB Tannehill lingered well into the 2017-18 season and his health is helping the Fins propel thus far in 2018. Miami defeated the Titans in Week 1, handled the Jets on the road in Week 2, and overcame an early deficit to route the Raiders 28-20 in Week 3. 17-23, 3 TD's, and 289 yards registers as a good day out on the field for the Miami Dolphins team leader. The emergence of speedsters WR Albert Wilson, and WR Jakeem Grant complement well with the deep threat abilities of WR Kenny Stills. Seeing that both the Jaguars and Lions manhandled the New England Patriots, the Dolphins have to believe that the AFC East is theirs for the taken at this point in life.

$100 Million on a new coach, 3 losses, and a lot of turmoil. News Surfaced yesterday that the Oakland Raiders front office was experienced a divide in methodologies regarding recruitment. The team is well staffed to be victorious and they have shown spurts of offensive excellence early in the season. What has not been justifiable however is Derek Carr's tendency to hold the ball too long. The Raiders often fall too deeply in love with the pass. Knowning that their defensive personnel isn't the greatest, the least the coaches could do is hand HB Marshawn Lynch, Doug Martin, and Jalen Richard the ball more often. The Raiders had a total of 25 total 1st downs yesterday and squandered the 4th quarter lead to Miami just as they had to the Broncos last week. With Kansas City running away with the division and the Los Angeles Chargers taking form, the Raiders need to figure things out and fast.
