Jet Fuel

Don't look now but the New York Jets are beginning to stride on the offensive side of the Football. The Gang Green defeated the Colts in Week 6 rendering a whopping 42 points.

Met Life Stadium hosted a high scoring contest between the Jets and Colts yesterday. Roars and shouts from the crowd were endless. New York picked off Andre Luck three times, pledging a defensive scheme that puts a smile on the face of head coach Todd Bowles. They mated the onslaught with a steady diet of Bilal Crowell & Isiah Crowell in the ground attack. It's refreshing to see the Jets impose their will on opponents and after several seasons without a playoff birth they have to like the progression they are making. Sam Darnold snagged the starting QB role at the seasons beginning and he has maintained excellence and leadership in doing so. Yesterday the Rookie went 24-30 for 2 TD's and 1 interception. His primary target Jermaine Kearse had 9 receptions and 94 yards. Sitting at 3-3 in the AFC East, a push for the post-season is well in reach. Especially if they can stay this energized throughout the season.
