The Lions' took advantage of Green Bay's slow 1st quarter (back-to-back Lions TD drives)
Detroit's third-year HB Kerryon Johnson found the end zone for the 1-yard score, followed by QB Matthew Stafford's four yard pass to WR Marvin Jones Jr. for 7 more to finish the quarter.
The Packers offense found their rhythm mid-way through the 2nd (14-10).
14 secs left in the half, Rodgers found WR Robert Tonyan for an 11-yard TD, 17-14 at the break.

Green Bay's Chandon Sullivan picked off Stafford for a six yard touchdown mid-way in the third, 31-14 Green Bay.
Several dropped receptions from the Packers' receivers stunted the chance for a third touchdown in the quarter. Last score of the quarter was from Mason Crosby's 35 yard field goal pushed the lead to 20.
Ultimately the Packers' balanced attack would be too much for the Lions, the final 42-21.
Rodgers finished 18-30 for 229 yards for two touchdowns. Jones's career day with 18 carries and four receptions for a total of 236 yards. Marquez Valdes-Scantling followed with three receptions for 64 yards.
For Detroit, Stafford threw 20-33 for 218 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. Johnson finished with eight carries for 32 yards and D'Andre Swift had five receptions for 60 yards.
