In Week 15, The Detroit Lions were victims of a Tampa Bay offense that has simply been on a terror.
With Lions starting QB Matthew Stafford out on injury, the Bucaneers pass rush demolished Detroit. Tampa Bay's 3rd ranked offense ran up the score and their defense ran the Lions off of the field. TheTampa Bay lead inflated to 21-0 in the 2nd quarter before the Lions even scored and the day was a total nightmare for Lions fans.
QB Jameis Winston finished the day 28/42 with 458 yards passing and 4 TD's. With WR Mike Evans injured, WR Chris Godwin, O.J Thomas and WR Breshard Perriman played as key targets for Winston in Detroit. After all the controversy, Jameis has returned and contributed to the Bucs offense in a big way. If head coach Bruce Arians can council Winston into throwing less interceptions the Buccaneers may be able to build around this newly founded offensive fire power and take over the NFC South in coming NFL seasons.
