If NFL followers were doubting the ability of QB Kirk Cousins before the season started they certainly have been instilled with faith after Week 2. The Vikings offense overcame a 20-7 deficit in the 4th quarter out scoring the Packers 22-9 in the final 15 minutes of regulation. After fighting their way down the field in Overtime, the Vikings were relying on the foot of Daniel Carlson to send them back home victorious. His failure renders an unwanted tie on the Vikings season record and is the reason Carlson was relieved of his employment with the franchise this week. The Vikings will match-up against the Bills at home in Week 3 and while the opponent may seem to be a pushover, the devastation of last weeks loss is a sour taste that cannot be appeased in just 7 days.

The Green Bay Packers limped their way to victory in Week 1 against the Bears and survived a 4th quarter onslaught from Cousins and the Vikings in Week 2. Their offensive strengths are prevalent. TE Jimmy Graham is a problem for any defense with his wheel routes and shallow crosses, and the maturation of WR Davante Adams was visible as well against a stingy Vikings defense. The Packers will visit the Redskins next week to lineup against the offensive power of Washington. In what has been a physical start to the Green Packers season it will be interesting to see if they can sustain this type of favor in the NFC North.
