The Green Bay Packers have had better days than the display they put forth on the road this weekend. The Redskins had their number two weeks ago, and besides a measly home field win against the Bills, the Packers haven't shown as a true powerhouse in the NFC North as some expected. The Vikings mushed the Eagles Sunday and the Bears currently lead the North with a 3-1 record. The Lions now have the offense to get it done and if they want to sustain this undefeated home stretch they will need to continue to dominate against opponents with lack luster defenses. Against Green Bay, Lions WR Kenny Galloday was potent and I've pleaded that the Lions may have the best WR's in the league for the last 3 seasons now. The emergence of HB Kerryon Johnson also creates havoc for opponents, putting at ease on the arm of QB Matthew Stafford and allowing a weakened Lions defense to rest. It's beginning to look like the Detroit Lions have found their identity. It will be interesting to see if they can now impose their will on the NFC as the season progresses. Green Bay on the other hand may have some serious issues to resolve.
