Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott has a new head coach and a brand new contract. Will these accolades overwhelm him this season?
$110 Million isn't a cash amount any normal human would complain about. Cowboys fans complained however about their teams inability to make a solid Playoff push over the last decade. Still disturbed by Dez Bryant's incomplete catch in 2014, the hype surrounding the Cowboys alleged "potential" has still yet to come into maturity. Last year they were dismissed by the Los Angeles Rams in the Divisional Round and consequently former head coach Jason Garrett was dismissed from his job at head coach.
Replacing Garrett is former Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy who led the Pack to a Super Bowl title in 2010 and several NFC North divisional titles in his tenure. Prescott is coming off a great season having a QBR of 99 and a total of 30 TD's in 2019. WR's Amari Cooper and Michael Gallup will now be joined by rookie CeeDee Lamb from Oklahoma giving Prescott everything he needs to live up to his hefty contract.
The Cowboys have no excuse for not winning the NFC East this season, right? Leave us a comment.
