The Packers grinned with evil after getting out to a 10-0 start against the undefeated LA Rams Sunday. Before long, Jared Goff and Todd Gurley found a way to ignite the NFL's best offense and push Green Bay back into reality.

No one has been able to halt the LA Rams offense this season. The club improved to 8-0 today, showing the endurance to withstand a 10-0 deficit after trailing against the Packers in the 1st half. Green Bay used their Nickel package to size up the speed of LA and the stretch run scheme of LA remained bottled up until the 3rd quarter. Green Bay had their chance! They stopped the Rams on the 1st possession of the 3rd quarter but faced the ferocious pass rush of DT Aaron Donald and DE Ndamukong Suh that led to some 3 & outs of their own. Fighting endlessly to rebound after falling down 23-13, Aaron Rodgers began slinging passes left and right to Cobb, Adams and other speed Packers WR's. The Packers led 27-26 late in the 4th until the leg of Greg Zuerlein gave the Rams a 29-27 lead.

Thanks to a Todd Montgomery fumble on a 4th quarter return, Aaron Rodgers never got another chance to return to the field. The Rams ran the clock away behind a weak side toss to HB Todd Gurley who humbly refrained from running into the end-zone at the games end. The Packers are now 3-3-1 in the NFC where only the LA Rams have shown themselves as the best team. The Rams will head into New Orleans next week to face off against the record setting leadership of Drew Brees. I cannot wait to see this match-up unfold.
