Saints 9-2 after Sunday

The New Orleans Saints aren't perfect, but they are a good football team.

Week in and week out the New Orleans Saints perform at top-level. Sunday they finished off the zealous Carolina Panthers in the final moments.

With just about two minutes to go in the 4th, Carolina had an opportunity to take a 34-31 lead. The opportunity was lost, thanks to a shakey kick by K Joey Syle. Of course you'll see his name in the news this week and for all the wrong reasons.

While Carolina falls to 5-6, the Saints march closer to the post-season with a 9-2 record. With the San Francisco 49ers scheduled to play the Patriots and Seahawks in coming weeks, the Saints may have an opportunity to take the #1 seed in the NFC.

Drew Brees was the games catalyst for success connecting on throws to Kamara and Thomas in the final minute of play. Good job New Orleans.
