The 35 year-old Adrian Peterson isn't done with the NFL just yet. Thanks to the Detroit Lions.
The Detroit Lions signed Adrian Peterson to a one-year deal worth $1.05 million this week.
This is a great move for the Lions.
Peterson will help to mentor HB Kerryon Johnson and bring pass blocking for Matthew Stafford to have time in the pocket.
Surely, Peterson is motivated to prove he is still capable of playing running back in this league.
His former team, the Minnesota Vikings (2007-2016), have basically dominated the NFC North over the last few seasons.
Is Adrian Peterson the piece the Lions need to win the NFC North?
I'd say no.
