WILD Card Colts

Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts reached an offensive pinnacle this afternoon. Perhaps their ability to cobbler the Titans will give them some morale to close out the season strong.

A team that once dominated the AFC South now finds themselves at the bottom of the AFC. Thanks to a bunch of mid-tier teams however, a late season winning streak may land them in a Wild Card slot. Bringing in new head coach and off-season acquisition TE Eric Ebron, Indianapolis wanted to give their star QB reasons to be encouraged. While no team in the league has dominated the Colts, their lack luster rushing attack has made them one dimensional this season. Nevertheless, the Titans came to town today and were completely destroyed by them. T.Y Hilton produced over 150 yards receiving on 9 receptions and a committee of HB's helped push Indianapolis over the 100 yard mark rushing. The 21 plus point smacking, had Lucas Oil stadium rocking all afternoon long. The win advances the Colts to 5-5 on the season and ties them for the 2nd slot in the AFC South division.

The Tennessee Titans and head coach Mike Vrabel ended a two-game wining streak today against their AFC South rivals. In a tight Wild Card race, the Titans want to believe that their chances still exist to make the post-season. Today however, they had absolutely no answer for the Colts offense. I'll surmise and say that they fell asleep at the wheel. Coming off a win against the Colts and Patriots, Tennesee likely expected to go into Indy to pummel the Colts and head back home 6-4. They were unable to get any separation on the outside for their receivers and Mariota left the game in the 2nd half after 13 attempts with an elbow injury. It's hard to read what type of the team the Titans can be. Unfortunately, they'll have to visit the red hot Houston Texans on Monday Night Football next week. If Mariota is absent in that match-up, it can and will get absolutely ugly.
